Shi4 bu shi4? .....SHI4!!!

Today Darius gave us a surprise on Saturday (28/6/08)....he spoke Mandarin!

Dar was making noise outside when I was in the washroom. Daddy asked "mummy zai4 ce4 suo3, shi4 bu shi4? " .....Dar answered "shi4" (nodding his head).

These 2 days we were curious what other chinese words he could speak and started prompting him every now n then. We found out he could say "yao4"(want) and "xie4 xie4")thank you.

Well I wouldnt say Dar is especially developed in his speech but I guess he is slowly catching up :) Good job Darius!
